… then either your Cobra’s already been swiped or this pack of thieves is working on it. From the press release:

It’s unclear why the thieves are choosing the souped-up Mustangs and how they located four of them in the same upscale neighborhood in southeast Pompano Beach. Some of the four Cobras were towed and some were driven away. One was recovered at a muffler shop in South Miami. The thefts happened in the early-morning hours on four days in November and December on four neighboring streets.

Detectives are releasing a surveillance photograph of one suspect
Dec. 30 at a Hialeah bank where he used a victim’s debit card at an
ATM. The suspect used the debit card at 6:30 a.m. at a Regions Bank,
3700 W. 12th Ave., Hialeah, just two and a half hours after a 2003
Mustang Cobra was taken in Pompano Beach. A white Ford SUV in the
background of the surveillance photo is a suspect vehicle.

Anyone with information about these crimes or about the individual
in the surveillance photo can report that information to BSO Det. Carol
Singstock at (954) 786-4553 or report it anonymously to Crime Stoppers
of Broward County at (954) 493-TIPS.
