We told you yesterday about Angela Byrd and Tanecia Josephs, accused of stealing almost half a million dollars from a Fort Lauderdale 99-year-old they were supposed to be taking care of. Police have now announced the arrest of a third woman, 34-year-old Tashau Edwards, on charges she stole more than $45,000 from the same woman.
Police also said they believe all three women may have victimized other elderly people and specifically said Edwards is believed to have been working as a heath-care aid after leaving the employment of the 99-year-old. If you're suspicious about other thefts they may have committed, Fort Lauderdale Police ask you to call Det. Amy Hoover at 954-828-5914.
