He still hasn’t officially endorsed Marco Rubio, but former Gov. Jeb Bush is sending plenty of signals that that’s his pick for Florida’s next U.S. senator. The most recent piece of evidence came in an interview with a conservative website, Newsmax, in which Bush called Charlie Crist’s support of the federal stimulus package “unforgivable.”
That decision was a “mistake,” in Bush’s estimation — which was made even worse by Crist’s insistance that he would have opposed the stimulus as a senator. A bit of flip-flop? “I’ve got a big problem with that,” said Bush in the interview.
