Continuing his ESPN campaign as a poster boy for U.S. Soccer, Boca Raton native Jozy Altidore recorded this entertaining video with the cable sports network, in which he’s invited to kick a soccer ball at a couple OF British gentlemen trying to enjoy a spot of tea.

That sprained ankle looks pretty good in the video, doesn’t it? The idea is to add some hype to tomorrow’s World Cup match against the U.K. But this gives me an idea

for a potentially cathartic way of dealing with that more recent,
American version of the tea party. Only this one would involve a soccer
ball and people carrying signs with idiotic, misspelled political
allegations.
