A 56-year-old man is in Palm Beach County lockup on a $1,500 bond for illegal use of a dairy case or egg basket, possession of a stolen shopping cart, and indecent exposure.

Ernest Wend, whose address is listed as "at large," was arrested Saturday at 8 a.m. by Palm Beach County deputies.

The report didn't specify what Wend did exactly to violate the accepted uses of a dairy case or egg basket. There's also the question of why cops couldn't differentiate between an egg basket or dairy case. But if Wend was indecent, it's easy to speculate that his activities truly were outside the normal uses of a dairy case or egg basket.
