ESPN is reporting that the Miami Heat is one of the few teams who have stayed on the phone past today's 3 p.m. NBA trade deadline. The team is working feverishly to try to land Utah Jazz forward Carlos Boozer in hopes his arrival will convince Dwyane Wade the team's got a chance to make a playoff run.
Seems like a long shot. And if Utah's insisting on Michael Beasley and Mario Chalmers, the price might be too steep.
UPDATE: It was not to be. Boozer's staying in Utah.
