But the residents of this region have an annoying habit of taking their usually bearable weather for granted. And so it’s in that spirit that I remind the self-pitiers that you’re not in Timbuktu, where they’re bracing for a high of 104 degrees and currently witnessing the vaguely apocalyptic phenomenon of “blowing dust.”
