Packs of ATV Riders and Motorcyclists Tore Through Broward and Miami Monday Afternoon

A throng of ATV riders turned parts of Broward and Miami-Dade into a scene out of Mad Max, zipping through traffic, popping wheelies, and generally creating havoc on the roadways on Monday afternoon.

The ATV riders and motorcyclists brazenly traveled in packs, not really caring for traffic laws, with at least one accident being reported. Reports say there were hundreds of riders, most of them weaving through traffic on I-95 and throughout Miami Beach and Broward County.

Turns out, the riders came from the Progressive International Motorcycle Show, which was hosted at the Miami Beach Convention Center over the weekend. When the convention ended Monday afternoon, riders hit the streets by the hundreds, starting in Miami Beach and taking their dare devil maneuvers onto I-95 and into Broward County.

The riders started a hashtag trend on Twitter and Instagram, #MiamiBikeLife, where they documented their tricks with photos and on video.
