Sometimes, truth in advertising is not a good thing. When New Times published its “Newspapers Are Dead!” cover story last fall, we never dreamed the Palm Beach Post would take us so seriously. But with the loss of more 130 jobs in its newsroom, Sunday circulation that’s dropped by 40,000 in three years, and a print edition that’s shrinking faster than Kim Kardashian’s waistline, the Post often seems to be gasping for life.

This flier is now appearing on the doorsteps of people who end or cut back on their daily subscriptions to the Post. Seems eerily prophetic, doesn’t it?
