Yesterday concluded the tryouts for the 2010 Miami Dolphins cheerleaders. After eight hours of competition — mostly in the middle of the Aventura Mall — 42 women were chosen from the field of 77.
More than 10,000 online votes, 5,000 text messages, nine judges, and 8,000 mall viewers participated in the final decision making, according to a release from the Dolphins. Now the women will begin their own training camp, in preparation for the team’s annual calendar shoot.
