Yesterday concluded the tryouts for the 2010 Miami Dolphins cheerleaders. After eight hours of competition -- mostly in the middle of the Aventura Mall -- 42 women were chosen from the field of 77.
More than 10,000 online votes, 5,000 text messages, nine judges, and 8,000 mall viewers participated in the final decision making, according to a release from the Dolphins. Now the women will begin their own training camp, in preparation for the team's annual calendar shoot.
More photos after the jump. Happy Mother's Day, sports fans.
