The Broward Sheriff's Office has just released a photograph of the man suspected of a role in the August 13 murder of Dave Montney in Pompano Beach.
I've uploaded the surveillance video. Check it out after the jump. Here's an excerpt from the BSO release:
The lifeless body of the 59-year-old victim was found on the floor of his apartment by his landlord shortly before 9 p.m. Friday, August 13 at 2400 NE 10 Court, #2 in Pompano Beach. Montney lived alone.
Broward Sheriff's Office homicide detectives said his neighbor grew concerned and called the owner after he hadn't been seen for a few days. Montney's black 2002 Volkswagen Beetle was also missing.BSO investigators are withholding the cause of death. However, they did say that Montney was killed some time after 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 11. That's the last time neighbors saw him alive.Montney worked at Holy Cross Hospital in the Records Division. He also attended Christ Church in Fort Lauderdale, where he served in different ministries. On Thursdays, Montney could be found with members of his church's Love in Action ministry at Hope Central at 1101 N. Andrews Ave. in Fort Lauderdale. He was also known to help members of the homeless community.
