Robert Lopicola, Weatherman Turned Personal Trainer, Arrested on Child Sex Charges

Former WPTV weatherman Robert Lopicola has been arrested on charges he had sexual relationships with two underage boys he met through Craigslist. The Wilton Manors 42-year-old, who now works as a personal trainer, allegedly met up with an anorexic 15-year-old from Boca Raton in October 2010 and performed oral sex on the boy in his car before the boy "ran home in the rain," according to the police report.

When the 15-year-old moved to Michigan, the two reportedly sexted on several occasions, with the boy sending nude photographs of himself to Lopicola. The boy met with police in January 2011 after showing his uncle Lopicola's personal training website,

Lopicola was allegedly busted a second time three months later, when he met with a 17-year-old boy in West Palm Beach and the boy's mother came home -- she called police when she allegedly found him hiding in the family shower; the boy said it was their third meeting after the boy responded to Lopicola's Craigslist personal ad.

Lopicola is scheduled to make his first appearance in court this morning; the police reports list charges for unlawful sexual activity with a minor, child pornography, lewd or lascivious battery, and child exploitation.
