Suspected Duck Murderers Nabbed

The lede on this Sun-Sentinel story:

"NORTH LAUDERDALE — Two men have been charged with beating a duck to death with a stick, the Broward Sheriff's Office said on Tuesday.

The reason for the beating: The men said the duck was stealing their bait while they fished in a lake near the Parrots Landing apartment complex, 1110 Sussex Drive."

Somebody witnessed the attack and then reported it to police, saying that the morons were laughing while they killed the bird. A third suspect is still at large and he is considered armed

and dangerous (to ducks). The comments indicate that the story has provoked both strong anti-Mexican and anti-Muscovy sentiments among the populace.
