Texas-Based Crime Spree Makes Stop at WalMart in Boynton Beach

They started in Texas and Louisiana, but now authorities say that the two men behind string of WalMart robberies have made it all the way to the East Coast, striking last night at the store in Boynton Beach.

The duo has an affinity for the garden center and the automobile center, breaking into registers there and grabbing the cash. They're suspected in raiding at least 40 stores in the two southern states before they made a stop in Palm Beach County. From the Boynton Beach Police Department's news release:

The men walked into the garden center in the Wal-Mart Supercenter at 3200 Old Boynton Road. While one served as a lookout, the other pried open a cash register and took more than $1,600 from the drawer. Both men exited the store and were seen entering a dark-colored SUV.
