A proven and seasoned investigative reporter is coming to town -- Tom Francis, an NT veteran who spent a while at The Stranger in Seattle before realizing that he needed to be in a real place, aka one where the unfettered desire for plastic goods and status symbols creates a wellspring of corruption, aka Fort Lauderdale. Francis is stepping into the gumshoes of Trevor Aaronson, who recently left NT for our sister paper in Miami.

I would say all of them are true, excepting the majority -- and expected, considering the sources -- opinion that living in Seattle is better than Florida. No way, man. No way.
