Vanilla Ice Gets Third Season of Reality Show, Needs a Palm Beach Mansion to Make Awesome

Stop worrying, folks. The DIY Network has renewed hometown hero Vanilla Ice's reality show, the Vanilla Ice Project, for a third season.

The bong-ripping, dirt-bike-jumping, "renegade home renovator" will be overhauling a Palm Beach home with his unique sense of flair over 13 episodes in 2013.

Brandii Toby-Leon of the DIY Network tells New Times that Ice, whose real name is Rob Van Winkle, is currently in the market for a Palm Beach mansion to retrofit.

"Vanilla Ice chooses the house himself," she says. "It's never been his own personal home. He typically purchases a home in the West Palm Beach area for the show."

The show has been a surprising success, winning numerous awards, including the Telly Award and the aptly named Factual Entertainment Award.

To get a better sense of how the mastermind behind "Ice Ice Baby" rolls nowadays, just watch the below video. Be sure to note the use of hairspray and a lighter as a flamethrower and the complete loser dressed as Abraham Lincoln in the back of a pickup truck.
