Conundrum Stage has successfully produced six years' worth of variety shows in South Florida and will now be appearing at the Sunrise Civic Center with its first official production, Café Conundrum, which will be a locals-heavy take on cabaret and coffeehouse acts. Stage actors, comedians, musicians, soloists, and performance poets showcasing South Florida's versatile talent pool will join the stage with some of their longtime associates like singers John Lariviere and Jeanne Lynn Gray, actors Fern and Barry Katz and Skye Whitcomb, comedians Rhett Thompson and Pam Bruno, and musician Serena Stroppa. Billed as "an evening of cabaret delights and coffeehouse treats that will satisfy any appetite for live performance," Café Conundrum promises a fun evening for all ages with live entertainment culled from our own backyard.
Café Conundrum will be presented at the Sunrise Civic Center Theatre on Friday at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $12 general admission, $10 for students with ID, and $8 for children. Call 954-747-4646, or visit sunrisefl.gov.
