The resounding familial chorus of “Why haven’t you met a nice Jewish boy/girl to bring home?” can be absolutely deafening this time of year — especially with all of the required extended-family get-togethers — but if they could just see, it’s not for lack of trying, right? Promising an “unforgettable Jewcy adventure,” Matzoball 2014 (the nation’s leading Jewish singles event) offers a great opportunity to quell the family requests for partnership with a singles bash that carries the promise to hook up with dozens of other potential Jewish mates. Though Matzoball started out in 1987 as a small gathering of bored bar patrons looking for something to do on an otherwise quiet Christmas Eve, it has grown exponentially to now include parties in every major city, like New York, SE Second Ave., Delray Beach). Doors open at 9 p.m. Tickets cost $30; VIP reservations can be made by emailing [email protected]. Visit matzoball.org.
