Part of what makes writer-director Rick Famuyiwa's Dope so fresh and joyous is that in many key ways it's not new at all. Like Dazed & Confused or The Breakfast Club, this is a film about just how weird the extraordinarily normal kids are — kids like you.

The teen comedy leads this week's Voice Film Club podcast, as hosts Alan Scherstuhl and Stephanie Zacharek of the Village Voice, and Amy Nicholson of the LA Weekly, all recommend you see it.

Amy then gives us her review of the latest Pixar movie, Inside Out, and this week's episode ends with Stephanie's recommendation of Eden and Alan's recommendation of Goodfellas, which marks its 25th anniversary with a digital restoration.
