5. Modern Etiquette: Grand Opening of Etiquette 2

7-10 p.m. Thursday, May 1, Modern Etiquette, 2638 N. Federal Hwy., Fort Lauderdale. Visit Facebook. No cover.

The Etiquette Boutique celebrates the grand opening of their newest location. Along with local fashion bloggers styling Posche Models, and the latest looks for the upcoming seasons, there will be cocktails by Zonin Prosecco and New Amsterdam vodka. And let's not forget about the live entertainment by Twilight Notes DJ Brendan Byrne spinning delightful house sounds. You are actually fancy, huh?

4. Octo Gato, Smith Sundy,, and Fuzzhound at City Pub

10 p.m. Thursday, May 1, at City Pub 956 S. Federal Hwy., Deerfield Beach. Visit Facebook. Admission is $5 and is 18+.

Rock and roll lives at City Pub tonight! Octo Gato brings the surf sounds while Smith Sundy keeps shit indie and Fuzzhound will get you psych-ed out.

3. Lavola, Raggy Monster, and Jeff Rose Band at the SunFest Afterparty

10 p.m., Saturday, May 3, at Respectable Street, 518 Clematis St., West Palm Beach. Visit Facebook. Admission is $5.

You may not have been able to make it to SunFest proper because you're busy or maybe because you're just broke as hell. But there is an elixir for your musical disease: a free SunFest afterparty at Respectable Street. Hard rocking Lavola, indie pop Jeff Rose Band, and the soon-to-break-up Raggy Monster are certain to entertain all night long.

2. Riot Act at DADA

10 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at DADA, 52 North Swinton Ave., Delray Beach. Visit Facebook. No cover.

Dada is great for not-so-cheap food and very free live music. Both are very worth the cost! But seriously, folks, they always bring in the best local sounds. On Friday, Pretty Girls will perform at this fine Delray institution and on Saturday, Riot Act will take the stage. We suggest you attend both.

1. Grand Opening Wild Whiskey Weekend at Fire Dog Saloon

1 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at Fire Dog Saloon 2871 East Commercial Blvd., Fort Lauderdale. Visit Facebook.

Kick off Sunday the right way with day four of Fire Dog Saloon's Wild Whiskey Weekend. Car enthusiasts can check out a truck, jeep, and car show while chugging on rye. And the party doesn't stop there (it never does, does it?). Rough Shot will be playing at 3 p.m., bringing a healthy dose of country rock to the party. Yeehaww!
