If you're anything like us, chances are you've got a garage, house, or closet filled with knickknacks and trinkets from yesteryear that just aren't getting any love. And for whatever reason -- perhaps sentimental or even hoarding tendencies -- you just can't seem to let go. But, c'mon do you really want the folks over at A&E showing up at your doorstep with an entire camera crew? Didn't think so.

Local movers and shakers Black Locust Society have created the solution to all your organization woes and garage-sale desires with the first BLS Outdoor Swap Meet.Taking over the lot behind Kreepy Tiki Tattoos and 5 Points Lounge, the Swap Meet is for everyone and anyone who would like to turn one man's trash into another man's treasure. Odds and ends taking up space in your garage? Of course. Gifts from an ex? Sell 'em. Vintage clothing and housewares? Definitely.

There will be food trucks and a bake sale on-site, which means no shortage of food. As a bonus, the brand new 5 Points Lounge will open its doors early to assist in quenching the thirst for beer as well as playing host to the Swap Meet's afterparty. Entry is free all day; vendor tables are available to rent for $20, contact SwaporDie@gmail for seller inquiries.

The Black Locust Society Outdoor Swap Meet. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at 5 Points Lounge and Kreepy Tiki Tattoos, 2608 S. Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale. Free entry. Afterparty will follow.  More info here.
