It's a great pleasure to announce that the Bruise Cruise 2012 lineup continues to expand -- much like your waistline will after six trips to the ice cream machine. But, with Fucked Up and King Khan & the Shrines at the top of the bill, you're gonna have to consume to stay upright during this big, bad, boat party.

Squeezing their way onto the boat is the scrappy San Francisco indie

pop tunesmith Mikal Cronin, and New Orleans bounce rap sensation Vockah

Redu. Best to pack clothing with plenty of elastic for this excursion, which

sails from Miami to the Bahamas February 10-13.

For those unfamiliar with Cronin, he's a buddy of Bruise Cruise vet Ty Segall. Our SF Weekly colleague Ian S. Port has done a masterful job of counting the ways to love his off-kilter songs:

4. His first name is pronounced like "Michael."

Say it now with confidence.

Here's the delightful "Get Along" from Cronin's recently released self-titled album. That chorus is quite a treat, huh?

The Bruise Cruise is not about standing around crossing and uncrossing your arms, and Vockah Redu (& Cru) are just the artists to inject some needed shake to your rump. Rooted in familiar rap melodies, the all-inclusive frenzy stirred by Redu is psychedelic positivity with plenty of bass. Part of the Redu agenda on the Bruise Cruise is leading an instructional dance class to give amateur booty owners the ability to up their trunk-slamming abilities to pro. And if there's any doubt about what kind of eye-stroke is in store, watch them at work:

And, as long as he isn't slaughtered by monkeys with no sense of humor between now and February, we can expect a lot of the wry humor of Neil Hamburger:

San Francisco stand-up comedian Anna Seregina, who says some very funny things about laughing your way "into a girl's pussy." And though

some doubt existed regarding the availability of Fucked Up frontman Damian Abraham, but organizers say that the band is "100 percent in." Additionally, there are only 50 cabins left, so it's probably best not to wait for a better opportunity to book this thing.

Bruise Cruise 2. With Fucked Up, King Khan & the Shrines, Mikal Cronin, Vockah Redu, the

Togas (featuring members of Ty Segall, Strange Boys, Reigning Sound,

& Shannon and the Clams) the Soft Pack,

Thee Oh Sees, the Dirtbombs, Quintron & Miss Pussycat, Neil

Hamburger, Vivian Girls DJ set, and DJ Jonathan Toubin. February 10 to 13, 2012. Click here.
