​The finals for the 2009 edition of New Times' Summer Spin series were held at Gryphon nightclub last Friday Night. DJs Edgar G., Alej Varez, and Cristi 10Hagen went head to head after each winning their respective contests over the last three months.

When the smoke cleared at midnight, DJ Alej Varez was crowned the victor. DJs Edgar G and Cristi 10Hagen had strong opening and closing sets, but Varez's turn at the tables proved strongest thanks to a high energy, nearly flawless mix.
