Dave Matthews Band

Love them or hate them, it's not officially summer till the Dave Matthews Band comes crashin' into town. As expressed by New Times' biggest DMB fan and six-year concert vet: "You'll never see a band move a crowd like they do or tease fans expecting one song, then quickly move onto another. Not only is every show different but every song is played differently." That's why Dave Matthews and his crew are playing two nights at the Coral Sky Amp, which is now the Perfect Vodka Amphitheatre.

Friday and Saturday, July 31 and August 1, 7 p.m. Perfect Vodka Amphitheatre (Formerly the Coral Sky Amphitheatre), 601-7 Sansbury's Way, West Palm Beach; 561-795-8883; ticketmaster.com. Tickets cost $31.50 to $76 plus fees via livenation.com

Birthday Candles

Birthday Candles are getting ready to share their Letters From Home to the south. But first, West Palm Beach's band of "alternative indie punk[s]" will kick off their Bright Nights Summer Tour at Propaganda.

Bright Nights Summer Tour 2015. With Howling Winds, the Muggles, Tally Ho!, and Sunnyvale FL Band. Saturday, August 1, 8 p.m. Propaganda, 6 S. J St., Lake Worth; 561-547-7273; propagandalw.com. Admission costs $7. Ages 18 and up.

Cocodrills

"You'll Never Know" what you'll discover at a Cocodrills rager. A new-found love for techno? An insatiable urge to fist pump? Whatever it else, the DJs warn via Facebook, "leave your pretense at the door 'cause you won't find any bullshit at one of their parties; only funky grooves, positive vibes, and rampant debauchery."

Presented by Social House. Saturday, August 1, 10 p.m. Sakred Nightclub, 7000 W. Palmetto Park Rd., Boca Raton; 561-609-2590; sakrednightclub.com. Ages 21 and up.

Toby Keith

Party with all the "Drunk Americans" of South Florida as Toby Keith brings his Good Times & Pickup Lines Tour to the Perfect Vodka Amp up in the 561.

Good Times & Pickup Lines Tour with Colt Ford and Chris Janson. Presented by Ford F-Series.
