The guys of Steady Freddy want you to make every day a "Steady Freddy day." And you can oblige their request tonight in Weston. They're promising to "rock your face off," and we can't think of a better invitation to party than that, except maybe that paired with Cafe 27's claim that it's "the last cafe on the edge of civilization." Bring your hog out for a run too for a rowdy outlaw jam.
4. Concert in the Park

This family-friendly show at S.P. Synder Park has the potential to be the cheapest event on the list. Both Moxie and Amanda's Candie will be jamming out for free, and the only thing you have to worry about is parking, which is $1 an hour and $5 for the whole day. You don't need much more to relax on a Saturday afternoon, except maybe a cold beer or maybe six cold beers.
3. Riot Agents with Minority Assembly, Condom Sex, and Fotre at Art on the Edge Gallery

Like all great things in South Florida, this Saturday night party features a merging of art and music. The show at Art on the Edge Gallery is bringing a punk rock soundtrack to what appears to be (from their Facebook page) musically-inspired art with bands like Condom Sex, Minority Assembly, Riot Agents, and Fotre. Not to mention, one of the bands name includes the words "condom" and "sex" in it. This would please any middle schooler or an adult with the humor of a middle schooler (like us).
2. Astari Nite, Symbols, and Ars Phoenix at Respectable Street
10 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at Respectable Street, 518 Clematis St., West Palm Beach. Visit Facebook. $5 cover.
A mix of dark wave, indie, and synth pop with a touch of industrial will darken Respectable Street this Saturday night. Symbols will premiere their newest music video, courtesy of Decades Records, Ars Phoenix will bring the darkest darkness, and Astari Nite will perform two new songs: "Anniversary X" and "Will-o'-the-Wisp." Black is not required, but obviously suggested. Gothic two-step should be practiced ahead of time too.
