5. Neon Rodeo at Cowboy's Saloon
10 p.m., Friday, March 28, at Cowboy's Saloon, 1805 South University Dr., Davie. Visit this site. No cover before 11.
Don highlighter bright clothes you wouldn't be caught dead in anywhere else for the Neon Rodeo. Glow sticks and cowboy boots may seem like a weird combo, but to us, it sounds like a party. Not to mention, you get the feel of WMC and Ultra without shelling out the big bucks.
4. Equinox Party at DADA
10 p.m., Friday, March 28, at Dada, 52 North Swinton Ave., Delray Beach. Visit Facebook. No cover.
The vernal equinox just passed us by, bringing with it a tendency for us to mate and sniff blooming flowers, looking like Pepe Le Pew. And what better way to celebrate spring than the Dada way? There'll be live music by the groovy Equinox and some of the area's finest muddled cocktails. Beats spring cleaning, huh?
3. Art Walk: The Middle Class at C&I Studios

2. Two Nights with the Janglin' Duo
The Janglin' Duo, with Sinners & Saints, March 28 at Poorhouse, 110 SW Third Ave., Fort Lauderdale, March 29, with Sinners & Saints, Carrie Nation and the Speakeasy at Propaganda, 6 S. J St., Lake Worth. Entrance is $5. Visit Speakeasy on Facebook.
We just got in touch with the Janglin' Duo, a pair of musicians who will not be held back by genre. Principle singer and songwriter and former Everymen, Chuck Callaway spoke about the local scene with admiration. "The love that the people have for the music here, especially, the bluegrass, punky, swampgrass and psychobilly scene that we have, it's the coolest scene I've ever been a part of," he raved. We like that kind of attitude at County Grind. Catch them perform twice this weekend for the more than fair price of 5 bucks.
