Greetings, fellow penny-pinchers! It's time for your weekly rundown of all the super cool, yet refreshingly cheap stuff you should do this weekend. Read on for details on this year's Zombie Prom at O'Malley's, a free surf rock show at Dada, and more! The world is your oyster, friends.

Groovin' In The Park New Season Halloween Party
10 a.m. Sunday, October 25, at Snyder Park. 3299 SW Fourth Ave., Fort Lauderdale. No cover. Visit Facebook.

Groovin’ In The Park goes down this Sunday, with plenty of activities for attendees of all ages. Taking place every third Sunday of the month through March, this free event is jam-packed with eight hours of music and dancing. Hey, maybe you can test our your best “Hotline Bling” Drake dance moves to the general public! DJs will include Robbie Leslie, Luis Mario, and more. There's also a children's play area and a volleyball court, so wear your comfy shoes and come ready to move. The daytime event ends at 6 p.m. and parking is a buck per hour or $5 a day.

Zombie Prom
9 p.m. Saturday, October 24, at O'Malleys Sports Bar. 1388 N. State Rd. 7, Margate. No cover. Visit Facebook.

Prom in high school may have been a bust, but this Zombie Prom should make up for it. With undead tributes to Deftones, Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Pantera, how could it not? Bands on the lineup include Headless Mind, Smells like Grunge, The Simplekill Studios Band, and 101 Proof. Dressing up as zombies is strongly encouraged, but eating people is not. There will also by a zombie burlesque show, zombie punch, dance contest and face painting table. It’s a party to “die” for (get it?).

Stratolites at Dada
11 p.m. Friday, October 23, at Dada. 52 N. Swinton Ave., Delray Beach. No cover. Visit Facebook

Per usual, hipster haven Dada will host a weekend of free, eclectic live music. This Friday, local band Stratolites will bring the instrumental surf rock for all to enjoy. Be sure to grab a drink from the bar during the show: the crafty cocktails and adorable mason jar shot glasses are also just too difficult to pass up.

Camel Toe at Rattlesnake Jake's
8 p.m. Saturday, October 24, at Rattlesnake Jake's. 2060 NE Second St., Deerfield Beach. No cover. Visit Facebook

It’s likely rare you'd encounter these five words together, but... bring on the Camel Toe! No, not the funny fashion faux pas — although it'd seem the Miami funk-rock band wants to take your mind to some places. Rocking your own camel toe is optional at this wallet-friendly event. We won't judge!

Art of ILL Fusion with Guavatron

9 p.m. Friday, October 23, at Funky Buddha Lounge and Brewery. 2621 N. Federal Hwy., Boca Raton. $7 cover. Visit Facebook

Art of ILL Fusion have been in the game 11 years and continue to tour and jam out in a very funky, much reggae-based way. Promoting their new album The Same, which dropped this past February via iTunes, they'll share the Funky Budda stage with Guavatron, a multi-genre group from Miami. As an 18+ show, you can even bring your younger sibs to check out both of these bands, and squeeze in a little extra family bonding, for a mere $7. Only if they’re as cool as you, though.
