*Green Room has a lot going on this weekend, starting with tonight's shindig, a David Bowie tribute featuring local acts playing music by the honoree. In the later hours, the event turns into a DJ-driven afterparty for the VNV Nation show at Culture Room. Admission is free. Click here for details.

*If you want to head south for a change, Palm Beach County act the Band in Heaven continues to ride the wave of adoration following its recent seven-inch for HoZac Records. Tonight, the group plays at the Vagabond in Miami, where admission is free before 11 p.m. and $5 after. Click here.

*Tonight marks the official opening of Kreepy Tiki Tattoos' new

adjoining 5 Points Lounge, and the evening features a performance by

cult favorite touring act the Pine Hill Haints, with support by Diablo

Dimes. There's also an art show and assorted other fun planned.

Saturday, February 18

*Tonight

is a big night at the Funky Buddha in Boca! It's a joint production

between Jolt Radio, South Florida Music Obsessed, and Brotherly Love

Productions, featuring live electronic music from local acts Sounduo,

and for cheap! Saturday marks the return of local act Fevers, along with
