Since the 2009 debut of Lungs, Florence Welch -- and her powerful backing musicians -- has become an unstoppable force in the music world. The booming and ethereal vocals on such tracks as "Dog Days Are Over" and the catchy lyrics of "Kiss With a Fist" had us hooked. Now with the second album release, Ceremonials, we're downright addicted to Florence and the Machine.
Last June, Florence and the Machine performed a short -- but unforgettable -- set at the U2 concert at Sun Life Stadium. Clearly the 35-minute set just wasn't enough for the vocalist either, as she's decided to return to South Florida for her own headlining gig.
On Wednesday, September 26, Florence Welch, her romantically haunting vocals, and eight musicians AKA "The Machine" will take the stage at BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise.
