Glass Candy sound like their on a space shuttle mission somewhere to the deep, dark recesses of the Galaxy Disco co-piloted by Lydia Lunch and Giorgio Moroder. Well, Ida No and Johnny Jewel will be temporarily landing the Shuttle B/E/A/T/B/O/X at the Vagabond on September 11th.

Sweat Records, who's presenting the show, hasn't made the announcement on their blog yet, but did mention it in an email over the weekend and it's confirmed by the band's MySpace

Last time the Italians Do It Better duo was in town they put on a triumphant show at Studio A with Ariel Pink's Haunter Graffiti during Art Basel 2007. Unfortunately Pink's grumpy drummer seriously bummed out our spaced-out euphoria, so we're happy they'll be back for a hopefully drama free show.

Glass Candy recently released a 12" of their Geto Boys sampling "Iko Iko" rework on Italians, and Sally Shapiro producer Johan Agebjorn contributed a remix of their "The Chameleon" to Lo Recording's excellent Milky Disco 2 comp. Their video for "Digital Versicolor" is after the cut.
