Fort Lauderdale-based Iron Forge Press
creates some of the most eye-popping rock posters we've ever seen.
Whenever possible, we'll share their designs right here on County Grind.
This will hopefully be far from the last time County Grind features a collaboration between Benevolent Ruler AKA "The artwerkings of Jessy Nite" and the masterful Iron Forge Press. A while back, we caught wind of her gifts for making limited-run album art for Miami's Axe and the Oak. Now, it's time to give some shine to a dangerous design for the LCD Soundsystem show recently at Fillmore Miami. (Although the female with candy-apple lips looks like she could be a backup singer for Sleigh Bells, the night's opening act.)
Another collaboration between the artists is found here in this awfully three-dimensional Melvins poster for the Santa Fe Brewing Co.
Take several more looks at detail from the LCD poster process below. Or check it on the Iron Forge blog.
