Look out, fixed-gear bikerati, free trade coffee grinders, and craft beer guzzlers: Protoman has loaded up a flatbed truck with verbal Molotov cocktails, and he's coming down the boulevard after your ironically tattooed ass. Rapping over one of the baddest beats of 2011, Kreayshawn's "Gucci Gucci," the pride of Fort Lauderdale's Sailboat Bend switches "one big room full of bad bitches" into "one big room full of bad hipsters" quite convincingly.

If you are reading this blog right now, you're definitely not safe from the ire of "Gucci Gucci (Hipsters Remix)." This is Proto -- who has diversified of late with a jam for youngs and a South Florida hip-hop supergroup, the Party Monsters -- locking into full Zeitgeist mode and pounding the recording booth (or "Garage Band, no ProTools") with his Look at This Fucking Hipster-style lyrical barbs.

Among the topics in his sights: jorts, flannels, Chuck Taylors, Vans, bare feet, a lack of physical hygiene, range-fed cattle, solar energy, fixed-gear bikes, Fiji water, microbrews, skinny jeans, fanny packs, caribiner keychains, experimental music, Whole Foods, Miller High Life, Pabst Blue Ribbon, bonfires, Atmosphere, American Spirits, Parliaments, Pall Malls, Ron Paul (!), ironic eyeglasses, vintage threads, tattoos, vinyl, Instagram, 4chan, iPhones, Tumblr, horror movies, music magazines, comics, '90s cartoons, Nintendo, and you get the picture.

County Grind caught Proto stocking up on organic, leafy greens in the Whole Foods produce section one time, though, so don't take it all too personally.
