Outkast's Big Boi was arrested in Miami Sunday afternoon facing felony drug possession charges, according to Miami-Dade Corrections. According to TMZ, the rapper (real name Antwan Patton) was busted by customs and border patrol when exiting a cruise with his family and the other half of Outkast, Andre 3000.

Update: He has since been released.

His partner in rhyme famously rapped "No drugs or alcohol so I can get the signal clear as day" back on the duo's 1996 hit "ATLiens" and has kept that a part of his lifestyle ever since, but Daddy Fat Sax reportedly had controlled substances MDMA powder, ecstasy pills, and Viagra (no prescription) on his person. Each carries a separate charge of possession of a controlled substance, and he was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Big Boi was jailed at 1:35 p.m. Sunday afternoon and is being held on $16,000 bail. We will update you as more information is available.
