Phish is in town for another New Year's Eve. And with the jam giants come some truly epic parties that not even the most fervent Phish hater can deny are glorious. In addition to the makeshift shindigs that will inevitably pop up on the beach, the White Room will host three afterparties during the first three days of the band's four-day stop in Miami

The first night (December 28) will feature Break Science, the brainchild of Adam Deitch and Borahm Lee. The two spin a web of trip-hop, dub, and drum & bass. Miami favorites Afrobeta, who will also play the party, create a cocktail of funk, afropop, electro, and house that is as dance-inducing as a real alcoholic beverage. Tuesday will include DJ duo Boombox, featuring Russ Randolph and Zion Rock Godchaux, and Miami staple DJ Le Spam from the Spam Allstars. Wednesday jam electronica duo EOTO, which features Michael Travis and Jason Hann of the String Cheese Incident, will bring their fusion of improv, house, dubstep, and electro to the stage. If you don't want the party to stop, and you're not going to Phish Thursday for NYE, EOTO really shouldn't be missed. Richard Devine and The JeanMarie will also play Wednesday.
