Brown Bag Wednesday is the newest addition to the Green Room weekly party lineup. There's usually a whole lot of drinking Colt 45, booty-dancing to throwback jams, and an occasional impromptu break-dancing competition. In sum, it's a total anything-goes type of atmosphere.
They kicked off the inaugural party with Talib Kweli and have continued to pack the stage with an assortment of talent. Tonight, hometown hip-hop artist Protoman takes the stage at Green Room alongside Community Property and Phresh James. And in getting ready, he gave County Grind a list of his top five nostalgic hip-hop albums.
Peep the list after the jump.
5. Dr. Dre - The Chronic 2001 (1999)
4. Beastie Boys - Hello Nasty (1998)
3. Westside Connection - Bow Down
2. Gang Starr - Full Clip: A Decade of Gang Starr
