Ex Norwegian Plays Propaganda in Lake Worth Tonight
Here are ten wallet-friendly music events this weekend around South Florida.

Tonight, Friday, June 5

*Atlanta-based power-pop-rock trio Last November plays at Transit Lounge. Cover information is kind of murky but it should be cheap or even free. Click here for a free Last November MP3 and more details about the show.

*A group of local indie-type staples plays at Flamingo Fridays at PS14: Astari Nite, Old Wives Tale, and Radioboxer, plus a DJ set by Otto von Schirach... For only $5! Click here for a free Astari Nite MP3, and click here for one from Radioboxer.

*Next door to PS, the Vagabond presents two new electronic pop acts from Miami: Palm Trees and Jesp (that's the Outereach guys' new side project). Cover is always free before midnight, and only $5 after. Click here to visit the Vagabond's web site, and Palm Trees' MySpace page.

*One of Miami's best new rock bands, Ex Norwegian, plays one of Palm Beach County's best new rock venues, Propaganda in Lake Worth. It's no secret I'm a fan of these guys' updated classic power-pop. Click here for full details about the show, which is just $5.

*Country-folk-pop-acoustic duo Friction Farm plays soothing sounds at a coffeehouse -- Aroma Coffee Bar in Deerfield Beach. How boho! The show is only $5. Click here for details.

Saturday, June 6

*In more news of Miami folks venturing north, South Florida's leading acoustic duo Raffa and Rainer play Dada in Delray. The show is free (not to mention, the food there is tasty and very budget-friendly). Click here for more details.

*The Bendy Pastorius Group played one of the cheap shows we highlighted last week, but that was in Miami. Fans further north can catch the band at South Shores Tavern Patio and Bar in Lake Worth, and the show is free-99. Click here for full details.

*Everyone's favorite zombie-centric South Florida act, Zombies! Organize!! plays at Propaganda for free. Click here for full details.

*Despite its unlikely location, Swampgrass Willy's in Palm Beach

Gardens (!) continues its super-active roster of hyperlocal shows. This

Saturday, Doppelganger, Ashes Over Eden, and Villain Right There play

for only $5. Check out the Swampgrass Willy's MySpace page for more info.

Sunday, June 7

*Here's something different: Stephan Mikes shows off his sitar skills in the afternoon at the West Palm Beach Public Library on Clematis. The event is free, and you can click here for full details.
