Although Miami might just be a half-hour drive, sometimes trekking there is just a pain in the ass. But thank the music gods! This year, during Winter Music Conference, you have options north of the 305/954 border. Vibe is hosting its own music week to run alongside WMC. And it has a solid list of DJs. DJ/producer Ollie Sanders has an hourlong album called Clubbers Guide to Miami 2013 uploaded on his Soundcloud page. This may come in handy as you wander from one bass-filled, sweaty-bodied club to the next during WMC. He's bringing this club experience north with a special DJ set at Vibe. For WMC, he's DJ'ing and hosting the Reload Pool Parties and is regularly heard spinning Miami's big dance spots, like the Shore Club and Hyde Beach.

German Garcia recently started a new label with Miami's Patrick M. It specializes in deep techno and tribal house. He'll be featuring the artists off the label as well as his own new tracks at Vibe.

Joe Maz's Soundcloud features a podcast called Miami Nights. It starts with a mix of R. Kelly's "Bump N' Grind" that will make you want to rub your body on others in the area. It's got a classic South Beach dance house energy that doesn't fail. Maz is returning to Vibe after a memorable New Year's bash and a year of opportunity. He's been going big with a string of new residencies and tour dates in Baltimore, Las Vegas, New York, and more. He's also been working on new remixes and edits for a diverse set of artists such as Maroon 5, Brass Knuckles, Blur, and St. Lucia.

The special event Forte with DJ Scotty Boy will close out the week. Scotty Boy, the resident DJ for Marquee in Vegas, has a song called "It's 4am in Miami" that includes very party lines like: "I can't even feel my fucking face!" If you grew up in the '90s, you remember this sensation well.

Scotty Boy has worked alongside some of the hottest DJs of the moment, huge names like Kaskade, Deadmau5, Benny Benassi, Avicii, and others, so he knows his genre and will bring the EDM good to Vibe during WMC.
