We were pleasantly surprised when we saw how quickly tickets were selling out for the Tortuga Music Festival. Not just 'cause we want to sing "Free Bird" on the sand to the turtles -- for which the fest is named -- as they waddle on the shore. But because we want to also yell out the lyrics with a ton of other people to "All for You" with Sister Hazel.

This Rock the Ocean event takes place at the edge of the Atlantic, April 13 to 14, in Fort Lauderdale, featuring such big beach-ball-bopping musicians as Kenny Chesney, the Avett Brothers, and the Wailers. While you can wear your flip-flops and bring your cozy, organizers Chris Stacey and A.J. Niland told us in a recent interview, the only pets allowed are of the turtle sort.
