Update: here's our review of the 2011 Y100 Jingle Ball.

When we announced the Y100 Jingle Ball lineup back in October, there were more than a few people who were wondering about Karmin. Among them, County Grind. As it turns out, Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan are a couple who got together at the Berklee College of Music a little while back, and they're musical virtuosos who obviously want to grab the pop world and shake it into submission. A cover of Chris Brown's "Look at Me Now" blew the hell up earlier this year, and setting them apart from many of the "quirky duos" you might already know is that Heidemann can flow on the mic. More proof of her vocal acumen exists in their new video for "Crash Your Party," a single that dropped today.

This stuff is as nerdy as you think it is -- that's a Black Sheep sample at the beginning.

And here's that "internet sensation" bit:

Karmin is apparently putting out an album sometime in 2012, and for curiosity's sake alone, don't show up late on Saturday.

Y100 Jingle Ball. With Pitbull, Kelly Clarkson, LMFAO, Demi Lovato,

Guetta, Avril Lavigne, Cobra Starship, and Karmin. 7 p.m. Saturday,

Center, 1 Panther Parkway, Sunrise. Tickets cost $40 to $150.
