Brace yourself, everyone. South Florida is about to get all Planet Hoth on us with a cold front swooping in over the weekend that could bring temperatures as low as
So get ready to bust out those winter coats and boots. It's gonna be CRAZY.
A cold blast is hitting the northeastern part of the United States starting Friday, which will bring chilly temps down our way late in the weekend into Sunday.
Of course, it'll be mostly pleasant while the rest of the nation will be cold as balls. But still. Fifty degrees is pretty serious down here.
According to the National Weather Service, cold air from the north will bring temps down to the 50s and low 60s on Friday evening. Saturday will be in the 60s, and the temperature isn't going to get any higher than 70.

As it turns out, the rest of the country will also know what it feels like to have South Florida Christmas next week, as it's expected to be one of the warmest on record.
