Rep. Allen West is doing some really important work today, hosting what he calls a "controversial screening" of a movie about how scary Muslims are.

The film is called Sacrificed Survivors: The Untold Story of the Ground Zero Mega Mosque, although it should really be called The Untold Story of the Muslim Community Center Two Blocks Away From Ground Zero in the Old Burlington Coat Factory.

The production company for the movie, PRB Films, has made a few other anti-Islam flicks, including one featuring the guy who called Islam the "ideology of a retarded culture," and has also compared the Qur'an to Hitler's Mein Kampf.

Regardless, here's what West's office has to say about the movie:

As plans for a mosque move forward at Ground Zero, just steps away from the twin towers site, 9/11 survivors and family members are experiencing yet another type of Islamic jihad. PRB Films tells their poignant and shocking stories in this new film...

Survivors fear after this week, the country will again become complacent and 9/11 will become a distant memory. They believe they must work to keep people vigilant and fighting against the march of radical Islam through attempts like the Ground Zero mosque. As retired New York City firefighter Tim Brown says, "If this mosque is built, it will be like 9/11 all over again for the families who lost loved ones."

The screening is taking place at the Rayburn Building in Washington, D.C., at 10:30 a.m. and will actually feature only 20 minutes of the hourlong "documentary."

West will be joined by other people who think Muslims are scary and trying to take over the world, including representatives from ACT! for America, the United West, and the Christian Action Network.
