It's time for a little Pulp told-you-so: Rep. Allen West says an apology to Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz over his email rant "is not happening."
He's also upset as to why people are giving attention to all of the name-calling he dropped in his email.
West went onto Fox Business Network today saying he was simply defending his honor with the email and is unsure why Wasserman Schultz would release a "private email" to the public.
Here's what West told Fox's Stuart Varney about apologizing to Wasserman Schultz:
"That is not happening. This is a pattern I referred to in that email that goes back to 2010. Finally I think I have the right to stand up and defend my honor and make sure that this type of activity does cease. I sent her a private email; she decided to make it public by releasing it to the news media."
West goes on to say he was using militaryspeak in the email and doesn't know the code words used by Washington insiders:
"There are certain ways we speak in the military, and I guess I have not learned the D.C. insider talk that these people are used to. Don't poke me in the chest. That's the bottom line to that exchange."
The conversation then morphed into the debt ceiling and the country's credit rating, in which he reiterated the GOP stance that "any type of tax hikes are off the table."
West then took to Twitter, apparently confused as to why his statements were garnering so much attention:

Maybe it's because just about every registered Democrat and their grandmother has been saying they're outraged by the congressman's comments.
In early polling results from the Pulp's extremely unscientific poll, 77.61 percent of readers say West should apologize, 10.45 percent say he shouldn't, and 11.94 percent say Wasserman Schultz is the one who needs to apologize.
