When you hit a certain age -- let's call it 18 -- it's illegal to chase 15-year-old girls. Stalking is pretty much always illegal.

Aysar Aktimur, 49, apparently missed those memos, according to what the Boca Raton Police Department has to say.

The cops say Aktimur would follow the teenaged girl around every morning during her Tri-Rail trip to school in West Palm Beach. He sometimes followed her all the way to the coffee shop and sometimes just acted creepy.

The girl told the cops that around Halloween, she started noticing a guy -- later determined to be Aktimur -- staring at her while she waited for the Tri-Rail.

That went on for a few days, until police say Aktimur started smiling at the girl and following her around near the train platform.

About two weeks ago, the cops say the girl went to Starbucks, and Aktimur followed.

A few days after that, he started standing close to the girl, according to the cops -- close enough to the point that the girl had to move to keep some distance.

One day, he followed the girl onto the same train car in West Palm Beach and stared at her until she got off the train in Boca Raton.

On November 18, police say, he approached her and attempted to hand her a small, silver object -- later determined to be a USB flash drive -- and told her, "Take it, you won't regret it."

Yeah, we bet. She didn't take it.

At that point, she told a security guard on the train what had been going on and told the cops at school when she got there.

The cops started some surveillance on Aktimur and arrested him at his house on Tuesday.

Asked why he was allegedly creeping on teenaged girls, the cops say Aktimur told them he "behaved more relaxed than he should have."

Of course, the cops also wanted to know what was on that USB drive.

Apparently, it was the ballet Giselle.

"Aktimur told detectives his attraction to the victim stemmed from his own unfulfilled musical aspirations," the Boca Raton cops say.

Aktimur was charged with aggravated stalking of a person under the age of 16.

He was released from the Palm Beach County Jail yesterday on $5,000 bond.
