Just in from Broward Sheriff's Office:
A masked man brandishing a handgun threw a store clerk over a counter during a robbery Monday night as the criminal demanded cash from the register.Detectives say this strong-arm (literally!) robber has hit the same Dixie Way convenience store in Pompano Beach four times this past month. But looks BSO doesn't have much to go on:
The clerk was not seriously injured, but detectives are anxious to catch the suspect before he hurts someone.
The robber appears to be in his early 20s, about 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds. He wore a black, long-sleeved T-shirt, long black shorts, black sneakers and an oversized black ski mask with large holes.So. Average height. Average weight. No description of the face. Black clothes. Tell ya what: If y'all see a dude in a ski mask throwing your local grocery clerk 'round like a rag doll, that's probably the guy. Happy hunting!
