Dude, thank your for your service to this nation in time of war, but... um.... can you save the bullets for the terrorists, please? The man pictured in wanted in a road rage case after he allegedly fired a shot at a dump truck that offended him when it made its turn out of the Waste Management headquarters on Powerline Road in Pompano Beach. Shortly before 6 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, a refuse truck driver was leaving the parking lot of Waste Management at 3831 North Powerline Road near Deerfield Beach. Kelvin Clark told BSO aggravated felonies detectives as he exited the parking lot in his Mack truck and pulled onto Powerline Road he noticed a southbound vehicle that began to fishtail. Clark stopped, and the out-of-control vehicle spun out and came to a stop facing northbound in front of Clark's truck.The driver exited his vehicle, which is believed to be a newer model, black Ford Mustang, and approached the truck.
The menacing man opened Clark's driver-side door, stated he was a Marine, threatened to snatch Clark from the truck and shoot him in the head.(A previous version of this release contained an error. The shot was fired through the passenger side window.)
As Clark proceeded to drive off, heading south on Powerline Road, the suspect went back to his car, retrieved a gun and fired one shot into thedriver'spassenger side of the garbage truck. Fortunately, the shot missed Clark and he was not injured. The suspect fled southbound on Sample Road.
Clark described the unidentified suspect as a white male in his mid 20's, about six feet tall, approximately 200 pounds, clean shaven with short, light brown hair and several unknown tattoos on his arms. Clark added that the suspect was missing some teeth toward the back on the left side of his mouth.
