That's a video from Saturday of Damon Weaver, the Canal Point Elementary student who became world-famous during his 2008 quest to interview Barack Obama. The kid landed that interview this past summer. Judging by this more recent video at Fort Lauderdale's Lockhart Stadium, Weaver has followed the traditional journalism career arc, eschewing serious interviews with government policy makers in favor of fluff pieces about beautiful people with dubious claims to celebrity, like the cheerleaders above.
