Fort Lauderdalians are known for their love of boats, but we've also got lots of love for cars. Beautiful, wonderful, cars. And there will be plenty of those to gawk at this week at the 2015 Fort Lauderdale Auto Show.

The show, which runs from today until Sunday, will feature 500 cars from the Buick's Cascada convertible, to the 2015 Corvette Z06 and its Supercharged 6.2L aluminum V8 engine.

The show will also feature the 2016 Buick Cascada convertible with its 4G LTE connectivity and standard turbocharged performance. The soft-top can open at up to 31 mph. The Cascada also features a 200-horsepower turbocharged engine. In other words, this thing is kinda badass.

According to show organizers, an estimated 125,000 people attended last year's show, with proceeds going directly to the the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. The show, which is entering its 24th year, has been able to raise $4 million for the Boys & Girls Clubs since 1991.

So going to check out boss cars this weekend is good for the soul in more ways than one.

Along with being able to peruse the cars, you'll also be able to test drive some. The Auto Show will give participants an opportunity to test drive specific  Fords and Chevrolets.

The Fort Lauderdale International Auto Show kicks off today at 3 p.m. at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd., Fort Lauderdale.
