It's 2011, and people are still chatting up people they believe to be kids on the internet for sex.
The latest of the bunch, allegedly, is Frederick G. Wade, who was pretty sure he was about to have sex with a young teenaged girl he met online.
Of course, that teenaged girl was actually a cop from the Boynton Beach Police Department.
Police say Wade, 62, chatted the little girl/cop about having sex, then decided to meet up in person.
Chris Hansen was absent, but the cops were present.
Wade was arrested and booked into the Palm Beach County jail on charges of using a computer to lure a child and traveling to meet said child after luring.
Wade posted the $24,000 bond and was released Saturday afternoon.
If convicted on both charges, Wade would face a maximum of 20 years in prison.
