A 65-year-old Davie man who for two years has volunteered with the Boy Scouts has been arrested and charged with 75 counts of possessing child pornography. The man, Gary Morano, allegedly admitted to owning a computer that contained nude images of children ages 6 to 10.

Morano has denied assaulting children. But the Broward Sheriff's Office is looking into the possibility that Morano had improper contact with the boys he encountered through his volunteer work. New release is here.
