Oh, this is getting ugly. We told you about Corey Hipscher last week. The 37-year-old somehow managed to get a job at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach despite being a registered sex offender. A 10-year-old girl says he groped her. And her story sounded familiar to at least two other girls.

The mother of three young girls contacted Broward Sheriff's Office Detective Carol Dansky last week after hearing in the news about how 37-year-old Corey Hipscher offered a young girl a ride around the lake on a float and molested her as he helped her out of the water. The concerned mother immediately spoke with her kids and confirmed her worst fear. Hipscher had inappropriately touched two of her girls by using the same m.o. he used with the first victim that came forward.

On July 8, a mother, in town visiting from the Dominican Republic, visited the park in Deerfield Beach with her family. They went to the marina to rent paddle boats, but the attendant offered to take the young girls for a ride around the lake on a float pulled by a small boat. An adult wanted to go on the ride to accompany the girls, but was turned down by Hipscher, who said they would be exceeding the boat's weight limit. Hipscher took the girls out on the boat, and after giving two of the girls a ride on the float, he touched them between their legs as he helped them out of the water. The first victim was a 7-year-old girl. Her 4-year-old sister, who didn't go in the water, witnessed the incident. Then, the 7-year-old witnessed as Hipscher did the same thing to her 8-year-old sister as he helped her out of the water. He continued to molest the 7-year-old two more times as he helped her into the boat after riding on the float.

Hipscher was arrested on July 22, after the first victim, a 10-year-old girl, came forward alleging he molested her at Quiet Waters Park. He remains in custody and now faces an additional five counts of molesting a victim under the age of 12. Hipscher is a registered sex offender and was on probation until the year 2013 for the false imprisonment and sexual battery of a victim over 12 that occurred in the city of Coconut Creek in 2002.

Anyone who has been a victim of Hipscher is asked to report the crime to BSO Sex Crimes Detective Carol Dansky at 954-321-4240 or to Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS or browardcrimestoppers.org.
